Secrets and threats surround it, from the feds to the criminal underworld, which prove to be very similar. Including the bizarre incidents surrounding the death of his sister …

I’ve never read a romance about mafia. Was I fascinated by this iusse? Of course I’m and that is why I recommend you to read this book!

  • Il principe dei Rocchetti was set by the author in an impeccable way, in my opinion. Why? Despite being a genre that I’ve never read before, Bree Porter took me into a completely different world. I know I what concerns the mafia in a superficial way but through the succession of events, words and gestures present in the romance, I was able to understand the complexity and brutality of that world. Is everything written down to the smallest detail? Yes, I would say enough enough. Is the romance heavy writing? No, in reality the writing is very smooth and the nromance is intrigues, fascinates and engages from the first page. I love it!

  • I really liked the choice of characters and their characteristics. In particular, I appreciated the strategic choice, in my opinion, of not letting Sophia’s character come out entirely, in the first books (of course!) She is a strong girl, of course; she has suffered a lot in her life. But Sophia is also a girl who knows the importance of power; she is a girl that very often seems to know how to stay in her place, just like her father suggested her in her marriage, but she is also that girl that is not afraid to get involved and risk everything for her family. Sophia is a character that I liked, although I didn’t love her submission to her husband, which happened too often, in my opinion. Alessandro? He is exactly as I imagined him when I read the plot. He is a strong and dark character. There is a special understanding between him and Sophia and I believe that, in the next few books, we will find that both are more similar than they expect. Why I think this? Because Alessandro understands Sophia much more than I would have expected.

I absolutely recommend reading this mafia romance!!!
